Kenji Yoshida: Science and Art

KY218_WK2059.jpg

Monday 13th April - Friday 8th May

These workshops will focus on the work of Japanese artist Kenji Yoshida.

The art work we create together will not only respond to his beautiful and peaceful works but will link to science, particularly focussing on biology, cells, and the circle of life.

The symbolism of circles will be investigated and used as a springboard for students of all ages to create individual paintings using different techniques taught in the gallery and then come together to build a light and ethereal installation or sculpture.

Workshops will run in the gallery between 10am-12pm or the October Gallery team can come and run these cross-curriculkar workshops in your school!

Workshops are FREE for PRUs and SEN Specialist schools.
